01 About this Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how thx.marketing Piotr Burnat (“THX”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on thx.marketing.

It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we process personal data more generally. For questions about cookies or privacy, contact privacy@thx.marketing .

02 What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small files or pieces of information stored on, or read from, your browser or device when you visit a website. Similar technologies can include local storage, pixels, tags, scripts or other identifiers that perform comparable functions.

Some technologies are session-based and disappear when you close your browser. Others are persistent and remain for a defined period or until you delete them. Cookies may be set by THX (“first-party”) or by a third-party service used on the website.

03 Categories we may use

Necessary

Used to provide core website functions, maintain security, prevent abuse and remember your privacy choices. Where such storage or access is strictly necessary to provide a service you requested, it may be used without consent to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Functional

Used to remember optional settings or enable enhanced functionality. Where the technology is not strictly necessary, it is activated only in accordance with your consent choice.

Statistics

Used, where enabled, to understand how visitors use the website and to improve performance, content and user experience. Optional analytics technologies are activated only after the required consent has been given.

Marketing

Used, where enabled, for advertising, campaign measurement, retargeting or similar marketing purposes. These technologies are not intended to be activated before the required consent has been obtained.

04 Consent and your choices

When required by law, optional cookies and similar technologies are not activated until you make a choice through our consent banner. You can accept or reject optional categories and later change your selection using the cookie settings / “Manage consent” control available on the website.

Refusing optional cookies should not prevent you from accessing the core content of the website, although features that depend on a rejected category may not work.

Withdrawal of consent

You can withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

05 Current cookies, services and retention periods

The technologies used by a website can change when plugins, analytics tools or integrations are added, removed or updated. For that reason, the current service and cookie details shown in our consent-management interface form part of this Cookie Policy.

That interface should identify, where applicable, the relevant service/provider, purpose, category and storage period. It is intended to be the current technical record of optional technologies detected or configured on the production website.

Important: THX uses a consent-management solution to manage cookie preferences. Its scan/configuration should be kept up to date whenever the site’s plugins, embeds, analytics or marketing technologies change.

06 Third-party services

Some website functions may depend on external providers. If a third-party service uses optional cookies or similar technologies, it should be blocked until the relevant consent is obtained.

Third-party providers may process information under their own privacy rules in addition to any processing they perform on our behalf. The current provider information available through the consent interface should be reviewed together with this policy.

07 Personal data and legal basis

Cookies and similar technologies can involve personal data such as online identifiers, IP addresses, device/browser information, timestamps, pages viewed, interactions or consent choices.

Where optional technologies involve personal data and consent is required, the GDPR legal basis is consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Strictly necessary technologies may be used without consent where permitted by applicable electronic-communications rules; any related personal-data processing is based on the legal basis appropriate to the particular purpose, as explained in our Privacy Policy.

08 International transfers

A third-party technology provider may process or make data accessible from outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, the transfer must rely on an applicable safeguard, such as an adequacy decision, an approved framework where legally available, or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses together with supplementary safeguards where required.

More information about international transfers is available in our Privacy Policy.

09 Browser and device controls

Most browsers allow you to view, block or delete cookies. Browser-level settings operate independently from our consent banner. If you delete cookies, your saved consent choice may also be deleted, meaning the website may ask for your preferences again.

Blocking all cookies at browser level may affect features that require strictly necessary storage or session functionality.

10 Changes and contact

We may update this Cookie Policy when technologies, providers or legal requirements change. The date at the top of the page shows when this version was last updated.
